i tried it out a month or so ago - too many problems at that time including some sites that wouldn't load at all - integration with adobe didn't work and downloading was hit and miss

Interesting. The shipping version was released a couple of weeks ago, so you'd hope those sorts of things are now sorted... Confused

Rob,

I've been using IE7 now for about two weeks on the desktop and the laptop, not noticed any fuzziness on the index pages though Confused .

Like you say, IE7 is a lot better than the previous incarnation, I like the fact that you can set up multiple home pages and define your choice of search engine too.

I've got IE7 and it is much better. The text does seem to be slightly different but doesn't really bother me. The only problem I've got seems to be to do with cookies, it never remembers me, and often signs me out quite quickly. This happens on all forums. Right... having just installed IE7 on my home PC (and also having to convince my non-genuine copy of XP that it is actually genuine, which it isn't but that's by the by) it looks like the fuzzy font business is down to the new fangled ClearType facility. In great MS style, this is a default behaviour for when IE7 is installed because they think it improves how you can see the text on web pages! Rolling Eyes

You can turn it off via Tools..Options..Advanced and there's an option under the Multimedia section that says "Always use ClearType for HTML". If you uncheck this option and restart IE, all is well again. At least it should be.

Initial feelings are I like IE7 too although I wish I could drag the address bar down to where it used to be in IE6. I can move all the other toolbars around, but not the address one for some reason...
