I think the RRS looks great in white, but it does need a dark interior. I wanted to get white, but the dealer persuaded me that it was a bad idea. I did think it might look a bit too much like a police car, as I guess the Police will start using Sports rather than the traditional Range Rover - as it would handle better at speed and be cheaper to purchase. Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!

Matt, I would have liked a white car too and response from the dealer was about the same- in fact they even told me that they could guarantee that they would never buy it back from me if I bought a White Sport or L322. I reckon white is all set for a big come back!
Police round here are using SILVER cars now as the residuals are better (so they claim, but on a car with more than 100000 miles clocked up in 3 years are residuals really a worry!)

I think the white looks great but I think with a black interior. Only problem is that when it eventually snows you'll never find the car in your drive. Instead of nicking the wheels you'll think a thief left the wheels and took the chassis!  2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yes the dealer said the same to me. If I ordered a white one they would not hand back the £5k deposit if I cancelled the order - yet they would on other colours. Matt

Sorry, you're correct. It was a £1K deposit for a new build.
I was getting confused, as we ended up not ordering a new one and instead purchased their demo car as it was virually the spec we wanted. I then paid a £5K deposit on that. Matt

All the local dealer got out of me was a Range Rover TD6 SE as the deposit.....
They took it off me 5 days before I got the Sport as they wanted to put into a 4x4 auction. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
