Anyone else had a text about recall N908, oil filler fault?
I got a text 6pm Friday evening ( handy as dealership closes at 5.30) MY 24 D300 Dynamic

Hi,

Not showing on Topix as applicable to my 24 MY (Oct 23) D300 AB.

I asked about this with the master tech when mine was in for SOTA issues and the content of the TIB had been withdrawn.

Now showing as N908v3!

Topix says it’s an oil filter cap renewal so that should be a three hour visit to the dealer no doubt!

Yeah - I got it. Its misleading as title says filler cap but its actually oil filter housing. They used wrong plastic so it could crack and leak oil on to hot manifold.
I also found another recall which could affect mine. To do with gearbox on hybrids built end of 2023 - plan to check with dealer. 2024 Firenza Red P460e Dynamic SE

Got a call from LR customer service this morning asking if I had booked car in for this important safety recall. Told them it was going in for first service mid November so would get it done then - no rush. She said no - very important it gets done ASAP as they are failing at quite low miles. So upshot is its going in Friday morning - its only a 15 minute job (yeah right) so I can wait for it. We shall see. 2024 Firenza Red P460e Dynamic SE
