The difference is that Motorway are quoting you a realistic price that can be achieved or maybe exceeded.
I have sold a few cars through them and when I have checked the price the dealer ends up putting it on the forecourt, then I would say I received a fair price.

I am monitoring the Motorway price on my car and it is also increasing! Will sell soon if I can find a replacement.

Better I think that being offered a high price and then being beaten down. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled
