My MY12 is £2500 on WBAC. They even emailed to say that because they are in high demand, my RRS had gone up in value. By a quid, I think it was. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Got another email from WBAC today saying it’s gone up AGAIN. It’s now gone up £160 to £16820. I’m not too sure if this is a wind up……….. |

Whatever the condition, they will drop the price when they see the car. It’s just a ploy to try and get you to sell. |

On the subject of WBAC, last week I was selling a 2004 Fiesta for a family friend who had to go into a nursing home. Bearing in mind its a 20 year old car but only 56K miles I thought their initial offer of £500 was good. Took it down and final offer was £129!

Well yet another email from WBAC. Gone up again , now to £17.5k. If they reach £20k I may go see them. Yeah I understand they knock you down for every little blemish. I once sold an Audi S5 cab to WBAC around 3 years ago and was a similar story to mine now, kept going up until it was £250 less than I was advertising it for on Auto Trader. Once there they tried to knock it down £500 for tyres not having enough tread and a couple of stone chips on bonnet. I refused and was about to leave when they rang their manager again to see if any movement, there was. I got £50 less than the price I was getting on their site so was very happy. Another rubbish thing with WBAC is if you want cash same day they charge something like £30. I was happy paying nothing for quick cash but it did take 2 or 3 days before I got the money |
