Hi all

A friend of mine has had the gearbox go on their 2008 3.6, they removed gearbox and took it to an indy to look at getting it refurbished, just been told cannot do anything and will be £3800 for a new gearbox !!

Can any one recommend a used/refurbed gearbox supplier?

Based in Ayrshire but able to travel

My Indy (Bell Automotive) nr Chester are a whizz on gearboxes as the owner’s best mate has a gearbox engineering firm 8 miles up the road from them.

Might be worth giving them a call as they have a yard full of LR vehicles, no doubt with a gearbox or two that can be refurbed.
