Rear seat entertainment
Good evening all
My rear seat entertainment module in my 2012 L320 Range Rover Sport Autobiography has stopped working. It is currently linked out of the MOST circuit by bridging it but was wondering if anyone knows someone who is selling one or where I can sent it to have it repaired.
Looked at buying one but they are over £1000.

I have the same problem and have used the same 'get around'.
These modules appear to be as common as hen's teeth.
Your post was a few months ago, so have you fixed yours now. If so, how?
All I can think of doing is contacting specialist RR breakers as I am not willing to pay RR prices for a new one.

No not fixed it yet, I do look on eBay every so often but no joy yet. Was hoping someone could recommend a company to fix it.

There are some repairers out there, but even they are not cheap.
Crazy system that the failure of one module takes out several others. My bluetooth, radio and reversing camera all played up.
I saw on youtube that one guy identified his fault as the bluetooth module, so he ran a soldering iron and a heat gun over all the joints, in case one had gone 'dry'. It worked!
I have a heat gun, so I might try it, but these boards are flow soldered before some other components are added and there is always a risk of damaging a plastic plug!
There must be some available from specialist breakers. A case of patience I guess.

I had a similar issue, whereby the rear screens wouldn't work, had this issue when I bought the car.
I had 'DVD Error' on a blue screen on both back headrest screens.
I ended up replacing the rear entertainment module, which was refurbished/software updated from a company on eBay called 'stockclearancecbc'. I paid £199 for the module from them, they specialize in Land Rover parts in general. I'd also bought a DAB module off them as well, which fixed my DAB radio not working (again it had been refurbished and had the software updated - JLR sticker on it).
They seem to have a sideline refurbishing and updating software on such modules, whether they do them themselves or send them away, but they come with a guarantee.
If you have the DVD error screens, it could also point to the DVD player in the right side of the boot area needing looking at, again there's a chap on Ebay, who specializes in refurbishing Land Rover DVD players, changing lasers, wiring and realignments - 'daniel8511'.
Not sure if either of the above fixes will help you, but it certainly did for me, was nothing to do with the MOST network in the end.
