Trip to Jabulani Safari
Hi all,
We recently went on a quick break to Jabulani Safari in Hoedspruit, close to the Kruger National Park. It's a Relais & Chateaux lodge, and we highly recommend it!
Most of the photos are of ellies, because the reserve contains Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (https://herd.org.za/), an elephant orphanage, where one can interact with the ellies, feed them, etc.
Some of the ellies featured in the Netflix movie Holiday In The Wild (https://www.netflix.com/title/80231468), and parts of the movie were also filmed there.

I always wanted to go on safari and especially go to the Kruger NP when I was a kiddy. Never did go though.
My work colleague’s daughter’s partner used to be a Ranger in Kruger. He used to tell enthralling tales of trying to shoot man-eating lions. People from Mozambique would walk across the border into SA via Kruger and when the Rangers went on patrol, they would often find body parts…
