New tyres required

Hi, I had my car MOTd today all good and passed but all 4 tyres picked up on advisories and they tell me only 3mm left on tyres so time for new ones me thinks. They have dot markers from 2016 so they have done well. They are 22 inch ones so won’t be cheap I know but does anyone have recommendations of where to source 22 inch tyres from. I will probably go for a good well known brand. I will obviously get prices from the usual places (Kwik fit etc)
Thanks in advance for any replies

Eh up

You could try Camskill on line, then get a local Indy to fit, usually £12-£15 per corner

Sometimes amazing what you can save

I usually go to either black circle, tyreshopper but this time ASDA were the cheapest for Pirelli scorpion on 22inch they all use local tyre fitters.

Thanks for the replies. Both good ideas and looks like I’m looking around the £280 per tyre. Costco is another good idea that someone mentioned to me but I’m not a member (yet , unless they are a lot cheaper) Another option that I’m looking at are brand new wheels and tyres from EBAY. Same wheels, 508s, and manufacturers spec tyres , I assume taken off cars that have wheels swapped as soon as the owners get their new cars (don’t know why you would) and these prices are around the £2K mark with maybe a bit of haggling to be done on those prices. No immediate rush as it’s not my Dailey driver so plenty of time to shop around

I replaced all mine a couple of months ago and after lots of internet trawling for the best prices for quality tyres I settled on using ATS as they offered the best deal. Sadly, they kept messing me around saying 'the tyres will be here soon' repeatedly, but I got fed up so gave up on them and went to Halfords.

ATS kept me waiting over three weeks before I got a refund (as I'd bought online) - so I'll never use them again that's for sure.

However, Halfords bettered their price enough for me to justify adding a new battery to the deal.

I've never rated Halfords much, but they did me a great deal and I opted for Goodyear Eagle F1s.

My advice would be find the best price online and then go to your local Halfords and ask them to equal or beat that price. In my case they did - I will use them again.

Good luck.

I use my local guy who, over the years, has helped me out with tyre issues. May not be quite as cheap as an online/big name supplier but he's a local guy in the local economy employing local lads. Also has the correct 4-wheel alignment system for the RRS. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Try National Tyres, they normally run a discount on a full set.

Currently running a set of Avons on mine
