Immobiliser and CJB shenanigans

Hello all. 2008 L320 RR Sport. I accidentally fried the CJB (long and embarassing story). I've just fitted a second-hand CJB and all the faults have been cleared and we're good to go - except of course the immobiliser is on and the central-locking no longer works. Here's my question: if I was to obtain the original key and ignition barrel would all my problems go away? I've searched the forum but not found anyone who's tried this so your thoughts please? Thank you. Michael

no, you need instruments, engine ecu, cjb and key all to match.

Kits usually available on ebay

Do you have petrol of diesel ?

V6 or v8? Filling in profile helps

Thank you Andy. My car details are filled in in my profile (L320 TDV8) but don't show up when I view the profile. Not sure what's happening there but will try to correct it when I get done installing XP pro on spare laptop. EDIT: apparently I hadn't selected a colour for my car in the profile. 2008 L320 HSE TDV8
