Does this N888 Security Enhancement (Phase 4) patch only apply to L461 in the UK.

I've checked here in France under TOPIX with my VIN, and there is nothing.

SOTA (Software over the air) updates are nothing to do with updates to devices or modules on the cars systems for security.

N888 isn’t even stored on LRA or dealers diagnostic equipment, it has to be downloaded for each applicable installation.

LRA did my 24MY RRS and SWMBO’s 21MY Defender in one visit in under an hour.

Just need a key to power on the vehicle and a good 3G/4G signal or wi-if to download the update to the diagnostic laptop.

What number are you calling and would they update this on a 2015 svr model?

For anyone insured through NFU who’s received a letter about security enhancements, I just called JLR Assist and they said it’s a blank letter campaign to all NFU customers who have Land Rover products. They confirmed that my 2024 model was up to date and said that they will contact owners directly via call or email for any new updates.
