Steering Angle reset

Just changed the front lower control arms and steering wheel is off 6 degrees. I have a GAP tool but can't seem to find any instructions how to reset steering angle. Would appreciate help id anyone knows how to get this fixed. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Would suggest you get a 4 wheel alignment done first, resetting just the steering angle sensor will not re-center the steering wheel.

Cheers

Yes you are correct , made assumption that the wheel would auto correct to centre. Alignment done all good. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.
