RRS SUPERCHARGED Chimes not working

Hi All,

This has been bugging me for some time.

The audible warning chimes do not work on my sport, I know some will say that’s a blessing but i like the bing bong when I leave the lights on or door open.

As you know from my previous posts I had a few electrical issue due to the A pillars water ingress.

Think I have eliminated most of the suspect tape joint and corroded connectors.

Not much information on the internet about this fault however i believe the speaker is attached at the rear of the speedo cluster?
Also affects the parking sensors at the front. I know the PDC is working because the switch on the dash is illuminated and the rears emit a tone

Anyone else had this issue on their’s ?

Thanks again Andy…
Will whip the cluster out and have a look.
See a few sellers on Fleebay offering repair for around £150

I don't suppose this will work for your car, but just in case it does I saw this video ages ago and 'bookmarked' it.

It's got to be worth a try - someone may just have disabled yours in the same way.

I did try that, think it just affects the seat belt chime.

I have no alert tones or front parking tone

Ah! I see. In that case I can only offer you good luck in finding the problem . . .
