Hello again,

Now that my 2007 RRS is running perfectly fine, I can start to fix the smaller problems on the car.

The previous owner told me, that there is a leak in the air line in the front, and he would change both air suspension in the front.

To verify wich side is leaking I sprayed everything, including the valve block with soapy water. And I found no leak at all.

So then I lifted the car in highest position and pulled the fuse for the air suspension in the engine compartment.

I measured all heights and the next morning I checked again, ant the car did not drop at all.

So I put in the fuse again, ant in exact this moment the car dropped completely in the front again.

So there is no air leak in the front, but maybe somewhere else.

Has anyone an idea?

Does not sound like a valid test to me..ie putting the fuse back in.
When you got in started the engine and set the height to normal on the centre console did it respond normally ? If it did forget it. Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

Yes, If I start the engine the car instantly levels itself.

I took the fuse out over night, because this way you can see which side is loosing pressure, if you have an air leak.

If you leave the fuse in, the car levels itself over night by synchronizing the pressure every few hours.

But if you take out the fuse it stops synchronizing and you see which side is having a leak.

But in my case there is no leak at all.


It is dropping anyway if I put the fuse back in. So some sponsors tell the system to lower the front.

Fault probably with one of the 4 height sensors or wiring.

Ideally used a gap iid tool on live data and graph.
Other check the colour Center display on 4x4 screen for erratic behaviour on one wheel.
