A couple of weeks ago needed to change the battery - completed no problem(?) but noticed later a thin piece of metal around 3/4" long which I did not recognise so placed somewhere safe!!
Over the weeks the remote has become less and less responsive to key pressing sometimes needing 4/5 depressions to activate,say, door locking.
Can't find that piece of metal - was it the culprit and can I obtain a replacement please? 2017 3.0 SDV6 HSE
