If you have a Gap IID tool, it would be able to interrogate it and it will show the engineering part number, you could then use this to source a secondhand one as most people list items for sale by the engineering part number as opposed to the actual LR part number. |

I don't have one, but do you think I should get one for future troubleshooting? I'm a fairly fresh RR owner so I am open to suggiestions and basic advice! |

I have Landrovers SDD software and interface, but it's subscription and very expensive. IID's often come up around the £300-£350 range secondhand and always sell quickly. I also have one and use it daily as its much more user friendly and quicker to use. Some people use Autel devices, but the IID seems the go to tool. Do some research and see what suits you and your budget. |
