Hello,
We have had our P440e for over a year now and very happy until the last few weeks.
We used to run almost exclusively in EV for normal day to day driving, and only kicked over to petrol when the battery was used up.

Recently, each time I try to select EV I get an error "EV temporarily not available". This is regardless of if the battery is 100% 50% etc full.
There are no errors on the dash..

Anyone else experiencing this?
Any ideas?

That’s what used to happen with P400e in the previous shape, I had two of them! As this is a BMW hybrid system I believe I’d hope it’s not got the same problems!

Sounds like HV heater - very common unfortunately. But an easy fix.

My dealer suggested that as well as the V8 petrol engines being sourced from BMW the hybrid system was based on the existing BMW system in such as the X5 but with a larger battery to give a better range. Obviously that’s unverified. Off thread but I’d also heard similar that the new 3 straight six diesel may have some similarities to the BMW unit?

I contacted my local dealer and it is booked in for this coming Thursday..

Usually I have to wait weeks before they can fit me in, so I'm almost a little bit suspicious about how quick they can see me with this problem....
