Alignment/tracking/balancing is 3 different issues. Are your 22's aftermarket and did they come with the hub locators? Wheel wobble is seldom a geometric issue. |

Is my dealer likely to be willing to set my wheel alignment up on my new car as above, or are they obliged to set it up as per LR's instructions? Won't there be talk of waivers, disclaimers and warranties? Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

I've had my wheels aligned today due to some slightly uneven wear (N/S rear outer wear & O/S inner wear) & they were setting them to 2.7TDV6 spec (mines a 3.0TDV6). The only figures the garage have are for the earlier 2.7. Does anybody know where these figures that AG09 quoted came from? Russ. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute. |

Not sure if your still around...but was looking spec on an 08 LR3...i have the 3" johnson rods along with 24" rims & 33" tires. Ever since i had a shop align it...it seems to feel like my tires are sitting like a "V"....literally will hug a groove in a road and i feel like im constantly pulling one way or the other. Also...getting scrubbing now as where before I only did if i was close to locking the steering wheel on either side....CAN YOU PLEASE HELP WITH SOME SPECS that I can take with me? Thank you in advance sir....email is....... mullinsman20@gmail.com

Hi Bernie, Could you please advise the settings you would advise for mostly motorway country lane driving for a l322 2002 petrol with 255/55 19 Pirelli. also the psi and process with air suspension not to sure as dealer cannot lock height as cpu fuse removed due to battery draining.. Last set of continental tyres lasted less than 6 months before down to radials on inside edge and dirt on seized adjustment nuts suggest never really set right.. Thanks in advance. |

I think you might be being a little optimistic in getting a response, as looks like the guy's last post was 14 years ago.

Thank you and a good point- nonetheless I was hoping someone may know from experience if what bernie mentioned for the same size tyres on the the Sport is applicable to the l322. the point he made more than a decade ago about even dealerships and tyres companies just applying software recommendations as the least effort rather than what may be optimal still seems to hold true.. |
