I have replace a couple of R/H/D one's, The L/H/D may fit as there is the blank grommet on the n/s where the wiper arm spindle would go on a L/H/D car, might just need to blank the hole on the L/H/D one assuming there is a blank on the O/S for the R/H/D wiper spindle, if I remember right there is a sort of detachable blanking panel underneath which you might need to swap from the original one for the correct side . Rimmer Bros. saying they have stock of R/H/D one, but might need to check though £100.00 inc.vat.

Worth using some UV protection on it if you get a new one. Aerospace 303 or similar. |

Thanks Col I’d totally forgotten to look up Rimmers at Lincoln ( used them a few times for parts ) never thought about them having this sort of plastic cowl. £100 plus vat is a good price as the LHD ones on eBay are £144 from Lithuanian 🙄 looks like a trip over to Lincoln next week ( only 30 miles from my house) cheers Col appreciate your help…………and thanks for the advice on the UV protection product will definitely look into getting some 👍👍. My car is now 16 years old and totally factory standard it’s been my pride and joy for the last 10 years so my aim is to keep it for as long as I’m drawing breath 😜 with the intention of eventually entering it into classic car shows ( a few years to go yet before it qualifies) it’s already been featured in LANDROVER international magazine twice……….. |

Adhesive Promoter and bumper black arrived today. Masked off the rubber trim that sits against the windscreen, as well as the wiper grommets. I’ll tidy these up with silicone once the scuttle is finished. Being rubber, I can’t imagine anything will stick to them for long, so natural rubber will be how it stays.
