I also don't see the app in the app store, so I guess it's been superceded by CarPlay/Android Auto.

I have Weather and News live apps, but that's about it.

I use something similar for my iPhone. It works pretty well. Good thing is that the car seems happy to use these little devices.

I got the wireless dongle for the car and also the wireless charging tray from powerfuluk.com (for cars with the fridge installed)

It comes with a tray to replace the OEM one and plugs into the other USB in the centre console, so have wireless charging as well and no more messing about with charging cables.
