instrument panel map display

I was in a new Land rover the other day and the map that displays is an overhead aerial photo, which looks very cool. My 2020 car just displays the navigation map, is there anyway I can update mine to display the aerial photo maps?

Online services will do it.

The satellite maps use data on the fly, so continued use will use a heck of a lot of data - it's not something you download as a whole.

I rarely use it - it's something you can use if you need to see where a car park really is or an actual destination. 2021 P400e Autobiography

oh I see, thanks for that. I assume the new cars get the data included then for the 1st 3 years? As I hadnt put any sim card in the Defender that I was driving?

I think new cars come with a SIM as a starter, not sure how long that lasts or what the potential cost are. 2021 P400e Autobiography
