Is the fuel filter replacement on a 3.0 sdv6 simply a case of replace and then prime the filter off the ignition a few times?

I've not done one myself yet - it's my intention to do mine this week (as well as all the other filters and the oil) which is why I looked up this video:

Personally I just disconnect the drain pipe, lift the filter up and then disconnect the water in fuel electrical connector and then spin the plastic housing off once the filter is out, but you'll get the idea from the topix procedure. Just make sure you fit the new thick rubber o ring, into the bottom of the new filter.
