L320 boot wont open.

Hi. Whilst taking the body off I closed to the boot with the battery disconnected. It wont now open with the body back on and battery re connected. The button on the boot doesn't do anything. The boot is not full closed as it didnt pull shut as the battery want connected. Any suggestions on how to get it working again.

Either

Force the boot closed with you hand at the bottom middle.

Or try holding lock and unlock buttons on the dash for 5 seconds

I've got a similar issue but without taking body off. The top glass mech is non operational as to is the lower section mechanism not working.

So for now i climbed in through the back of car, used screwdriver to unlatch top glass and to unlock lower door i used a power probe from main battery to the lower mech harness and undone it like that, so access is easier. i plan to trace cabling back to rear roof lining and i'm wondering if the harness breaks in the flexi tubes, going to investigate this further on monday.

Perhaps there is a known fault, havent read that far in the forum yet Very Happy
