hi, i have just joined the groupe
i am looking at buying a
Land Rover Range Rover Sport 2007 2.7 turbo diesel engine
my question is, is this motor any good.
i am not familiar with the sport at all
any advice would be good
this vehicle has been put up for sale and has no keys, so i am buying it blind

The engine has various expensive failure modes.

Snapped cranks
Spun bearings
Timing lost due to oil pump (2007 particularly bad)

So I would want to hear it run
