by the desiccant filter do you mean the cons shaped brass bit on the compressor? If not then remove that, its actually the silencer, new ones have a small hole drilled through the bottom and are about a tenner.

Yes that's right. I removed it completely and run the system for a day but it's still returning back to extended mode as default so not sure that's the issue? |

The EAS exhaust valve isn't exhausting. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
