The problem with asking this sort of question is that you're likely to get most answers just being the wish lists of the people replying.

I would agree with others - option are worth zero when it comes to sell/trade in.

This, I think, is the key point. You're spending many tens of thousands of pounds on a car. Why spec it for someone else who will be buying it for much less than you are paying? Spec it for what you want. Even if spec made a difference, if you're driving it for 2 or 3 years, why drive something that isn't exactly what you want? You may as well buy second hand and save a chunk of depreciation cost. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
