Rattle at rear cured for $0

Been chasing a rattle at the rear for some time ....chassis mounts....Chassis dampers . tools in the boot ..Roll bar bush /.....loose spare wheel.
Then I opened the top tailgate glass at Aldi and noticed the top part had rubbed the paint away on the lower...
Adjusted the rubber bumpers to left and right by screwing them out and the rattle has gone ,
Stupid me. Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

At last, a low cost repair of yours that I agree with entirely. Whistle Rolling with laughter

Always nice when these freebie solutions present themselves. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Maybe 8mm . If you look up under the joint top to bottom tailgate you will see there is a gap so no rubbing. Also the close is a rubbery thud rather than metallic. Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.
