Hi all

I've seen this mentioned before with people complaining that the car itself speeds up on its own. I don't have this problem but I do have an issue when I set the cruise control to say 70mph it will maintain that sometimes however will always then start speeding up until I press the brakes or cancel the cruise.

Car was previously accident damaged, front end where air bags were deployed around 5 years ago and has the autobiography kit added during repair (not me) so wonder if something could be effecting thus as a result.

No warnings or error messages. All appears to work as it should until it drops a gear and takes off past the speed limit without asking it to.

Any common faults I could check from your guy's experience?
