So the rebuild should of been £3k however by the time we got all the new cranks pistons etc we were at around £5800 that includes 12 months warrenty 12k miles and delivered and collected

Well it should have been £4K but with all the damage new parts etc got upto £5800 delivered back with 12 months warrenty 12k miles.

Well that’s better than a new/recon engine from Landrover for £15K. Was it a company local to you who did the work? So was it the crank shaft that had snapped that had ruined the engine?
