sport - winch in boot and brake pad query

Hi took delivery of my 4th r/rover, 1st sport though. its a 2009 old i know but its so i can get my mobility scooter in !!
the plan is to buy a pair of ramps to get it into car i will need to fit a small winch in load area, to pull it up ramps much cheaper than a hoist.
so can i safely drill into the floor of the boot? Is there any thing sensative under there or would it take some self tapping screws about 3/4" long?
next question it only came with one key , have been phoning around and eventually found the AA key site, has anybody used them and did it go well?
I have ebc red stuff brake pads and grooved discs on my xf s jag and they have lasted over Cool 8 years and stop the car well!!!
Anybody had them fitted to a sport and whats you thoughts?

EBC dropped the Redstuff range for SUV's a while ago, so no longer available, unless very old stock somewhere.

Cheers

They do have HD Orangestuff specifically for SUV's, but not sure they are available in the UK, Yellowstuff seem to be quite a popular choice if you must have EBC, but everybody is going to have a different opinion.

Cheers
