Suspension stuck in Calibration mode - I think

A bit of a story here. a year or so ago, I replaced the front right height sensor, as it would occasionally decide it was high or low or zooming between while the car was level. Happened while moving and stationary. So I bought an aftermarket sensor and installed it.

This caused the yellow suspension light to come on and the car thinks the RF wheel is now subterranean... see the attached pic.

Fast-forward to last week, and I got loaned a (I thought) decent OBDII tool that has all the LR suspension functions, tight-tolerance mode, calibration, enable suspension etc. So I checked out the video from Atlantic British on the subject - their iLand tool looks similar to the one I have, except mine is via cable, not bluetooth.

So, started the car and set to normal height, and having done the rounds of measure, enter details, and re-measure, it finally said "raising to offroad height, this could take up to 5 minutes" - as expected. But it never raised. When I started the calibration it turned the suspension light on the dash to red, but I figured that was because we were doing the calibration.

after about 20 minutes of it not moving I unplugged and re-plugged the OBDII unit (note that I had tried ALL the buttons but the unit was unresponsive)

It had the red light, yellow brake warning and yellow DSC light on and wouldn't budge. After searching on here quite a bit and reading a stack of posts, I tried the "set it to tight tolerance mode a few times, then enable the suspension" which cleared all the lights except the red suspension light.

There are a bunch of codes that cannot be cleared in the ECU, most importantly the C1A00-54 (AF) Control module - System programming failure - missing calibration.

If I do a "clear codes" all the lights clear for a second, then the red returns.

Had a read through this thread and all its linked threads too: https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic173332-15.html

Note that occasionally it lowers the left side of the car when static and gone to sleep, but starting the motor runs the compressor and it resets back to normal height.

If I try to change to offorad or access, both arrows on the height rocker switch flash 3 times and the car "bings" but nothing happens, and the display still shows "normal"

I've probably forgotten a bunch of stuff, but any ideas / suggestions are very welcome Smile Every home should have one!
