You basically need to drill out the sunroof hole - get a rubber bung connector like in the thread above seal around it with some seam sealer and the reconnect original drain hose - make sure you clean the
Drain hose out as it will be full of the old corroded roof nipple.

You sir are a star that looks a relatively easy job and your way means no need to remove the lining. In reality how long did it take you? Hi yes eBay/amazon - takes about an hour each side - just undone the rubber seal and unscrew the interior grab handle this will give you some movement in the headlining to get your hand in to reattach the drain hose

Thanks again Karl. One hopefully final thing, do you know exactly where the outlet is? Managed to do the fix last weekend and I agree with you 100% it is a relatively easy job to do but it is a temp fix, thanks for the info and after all the rain this last week again saved the inside another soaking. I found a better and maybe a more permanent fix which I have done today. I think I have the same problem, on both sides, however I'm struggling to get the headliner down far enough to see. Seems like the interior lights by the grab handles are holding up the liner. I cant see how to get them off. Anybody have any suggestions? RRS HSE Dynamic SDV6 2014

Have you undone the 2 bolts that hold the handle? You can get a small torch in to see the connection but if it is broke off the pipe will be easy to grab and slide out. Current: 2014 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography 110k miles......will it make the 200k like the Boss did1

Am looking to do a repair based on using an M8 x 40 brass bolt with a hole drilled up the middle as the drain. I plan to drill out the corroded stub to make an 8mm hole. I have a lathe so can reduce the bolt head thickness. Once bolted on with a rubber washer on the wet side, the drain pipe should fit over the protruding threads and seal with a bit of silicone and a hose clip.
Any flaws in my plan?

Not sure about the light, my hands are small enough to get in there. But, save yourself the bolt drilling and do as I did. Buy the pack from the link below it comes with threaded tube, 4mm nuts and washers etc. Worked a treat for me. This is M10 as you will find when you drill out the old stub it is leaves a 10mm hole. A couple of small pipe clamps and that's it. No need to even cut the pipe down, perfect length.
