Winter tires, he's gonna go across Europe in winter. And not feel sorry about the tires, as he's gonna be in a snow-free area once he passes Rome. Regards etc.,

Check the oil level, top up the screen wash, check tyre pressures, fill it up with fuel, drive.

in the boot drivers side is a small hatch...you can pack at least 6 1 litre bottles of oil/water in there and under the rear seat is a vast space for spares like jump leads/tow rope /scanner.

Ditch locking wheel nuts. Ditch the scissor jack. Invest in an old style LR bottle jack with the "horns" to lift a wheel. Visitor from fullfatrr.com
