Tracker Systems

Thinking of putting a tracker system on the RRS when it arrives. Seems to be mixed views on the desireabilty of them. Whats the thoughts on here?

My insurer doesn't mandate one. Whats the thoughts on the best system? HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)

Hi Rob_j

Personally I have had them fitted of late. But It does make you wonder I had one fitted to my last car Audi S4 cab cost nearly six hundred quid didnt keep the car long & had the bloo*y satin chrome wing mirrors ripped from the car whilst at home on my driveway Shocked Shocked diddnt stop that happening and they cost me £600 as well to replace Crying or Very sad

Best garage it religously - take the quote without and put any saving towards depriciation

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

LR tried to flog me the TracStar system on both the RR and the Sport..... when I contacted my insurers (who also happen to be Land Rover!) they said I would be wasting my money as they wouldn't give me a discount for having it fitted.
Don't forget that in addition to the fitting fee there is an annual sub to pay every year after that. Is it really worth it if your insurer doesn't require it to get comprehensive cover? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I think it's better to pay gap insurance from new. Mine will pay for a brand new RRS even if the car is nicked/written off 3 years from new. I might find a deep lake somewhere in 2 years time! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
