As I continue to try to get to the bottom of my never ending Dynamic Response issues, I purchased an ICarsoft V3.0 which arrived today…..

… however, it seems to be making the RRS very upset - as soon as I instruct it to diagnose, it throws up HDC Fault / Special Programs off errors on the car’s dashboard, and it won’t clear the offending codes. An ignition key cycle removes the lights from the dashboard, but they will come on again once I attempt to rerun diagnostics.

I’ve updated the firmware / software to latest, but that’s not resolved it (that will also have ruled out being some chinesium knockoff).

I also have access to an ICarsoft 930, which doesn’t cause any issues when running diagnostics, but only displays 4 digits with the OBD codes.

So, the question is, are there any others out there who are successfully using V3.0? Using the ICarsoft 930 as a baseline, I’m comfortable that the various codes that V3.0 reports (eg, U0001 CAN BUS) are caused by itself for some reason … thoughts? I have not gone back to the supplying company yet (ordered Friday at 1pm, delivered by Royal Mail Saturday at 10am - great service), as thought I’d check on here if it’s just me / a duff unit, or something else

many have used it without issue...so your only option is to contact the company..or have another play around just in case it's something you've done.

So, I’ve played around with it some more, and can’t get it to work without generating ghost faults - this stuff should be plug and play, so will give it 24 hours and a then it’s going to be back in the post to the supplier.
