Yes. The car has been in the repair centre for over a month now and they are still waiting for the wiring looms for the repair to start. The total cost of repair is £17,500 which is a ludicrous amount for a theft that only lasted 10 minutes. They are hoping they will receive the wiring looms this month and finish the repair at the end of November, but they still haven't got any update from the supplier so We might be waiting until the new year for the repair to finish. |

Unfortunately it seems that the more complicated the on board electronics get the easier the low life get round it? |

it does seem like if you’ve a Ghost then it’s better to leave keyless entry enabled and not use a faraday pouch - so that the car is not damaged in any attempt to steal it. Does this make sense? Ta J |

Thanks Scrumps - am looking at Tracker Shop now - there's a 5% offer (useful ) - looks like the Ghost or the Scorpion - the latter is a tracker as well as immobiliser and operates off a fob as opposed to entering a PIN.

Hi - thanks again for the info - I'm sure they've got this all nailed down - but it feels like if the app is running on the phone and the phone is say in the kitchen you could easily be within 10m of the parked car, thereby disabling the immobiliser inadvertently..?
