I’m afraid I put mine into the dealer under warranty .. however I would think if you are replacing the whole arm rather than the bushes I would think it’s fairly simple with the right tools… undo the main bolt where the bush is and remove the ball joint? Sorry I can’t be more helpful..

The ball joint is tight into the hub. We've a 30 ton hydraulic foot press for this very job, and it still makes me wince using it. When they go, they go with a bang

Can you use a ball joint splitter or one like below like the dealer uses ?

LCAs on mine were replaced 18 months ago, but I haven't even driven 6,000km since then, and they are already shot.
