2016 L494 passenger rear door lock problem

I am currently having issues with my NS rear passenger door in that the door wont open.
This is from both the inside and the outside (with child lock disengaged)

Has anyone had a similar problem.
If so how did you get the door open?
I am guessing the problem is something to do with the door solenoid.
I can hear a clear locking noise when the car is locked/unlocked.
But unfortunately the door still wont open

I’m also not convinced I can remove the door card with the door closed, unless somebody knows anything different?

resurrecting this as I have an identical problem L494 MY2014.

Update
Repeatedly lock/unlock on the remote whilst thumping the door in the area of the lock with my hand got it opened.
After that a squirt of WD40 on the latch and all seems well!
Did all the other latches just in case.
