Just as an afterthought on this one …. I replaced my switch a year or so ago … was tight and bought a chindian replacement instead of OEM …. All works fine, however, when it’s wet, there’s quite a lot of colour transfer onto my fingers when I use it … so much so, that I tend to open the entire tailgate when wet to avoid dirty fingers / SWMBO moaning about my ‘stupid’ car!
