Brakes warning light

My 2013 L320 RRS just had new brake discs and pads fitted all around including new wear sensors but the brake pad warning light is still on, is this a known issue and is there a fix? and suggestions welcome Michael

Initially I would check they have actually refitted/connected the the wear sensors correctly and not damaged either.

Cheers

Thanks, the specialist still has the car and reported the issue to me so hopefully he will check that but I will mention it to him, he is someone I trust but he isn’t sure what is wrong. Michael

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I've just had this issue on the mega mileage TDV8 i've taken on.

I found the rear pad sensor had been broken from new by the last person who put pads in and its worth testing the sensors for continuity off the car. Also inspect the wires on the loom where the connectors plug in as they can get damaged if tugged on too hard.

Once I fitted the new sensor the light on the dash went out, no clearing of faults needed

Hope they can sort it

I'd suggest to him that as a specialist, you use him because he can find out what's wrong. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Spiffing wheel centre caps available
