I have not used it, but along with many other apps it shows cycle routes around my house that are on private land.

Was going to post what jimbg has said - these apps sometimes show illegal routes that people have just decided to "go that way because it looks nice". Much care required to avoid getting in a spot of bother. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Where I want to go in france (in search of wildlife) is single track roads or farm tracks and the law says you must chain it off or mark as private so I dont for see too much of a problem. Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

The best source of info are IGN maps ( French Ordnance Survey )
