Leaking ACE hydraulic lines.

Hi guys,
Sad times! One of my rotten hydraulic lines has started leaking with fluid dripping down the front offside track control arm. Red suspension light is on with message to pull over and stop engine. Been dreading this for a while now as it’s a lot of money to fix. I’ve taken the car to a couple of places who won’t touch it due to previous experience where the bill kept going up and up and the customer ended up walking away leaving no one to pay the bill. However, one guy said he is prepared to fit an ACE delete kit which is not ideal but given the prices to fix it properly may be the only option. The question is what will the car handle like with the ACE deleted? Anyone been forced into this move and if so how was the car afterwards? Big Cry

I have read recently about someone re routing the belt to miss the pump..(new belt number was supplied )leaving the old pump in place. You then have the warning light to deal with.
But then its a question of do you fit new ACE bars or weld up the ones you have ?

People have successfully just replaced the damaged section with pipes fabricated by a local hydraulic specialist. So there isn't a need to do the whole lot if you can see that just a particular section is rotten (usually the section in the wheel arch). I think a search on here will bring p threads where this has been done.

Deleting the ARB system won't help the handling with that big lump of a V8 up front - that's why the system is on there in the first place. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for the ideas guys. The correct fix is simply way out of budget at the moment, don’t even know how I’m gonna pay the next gas bill let alone a £5k garage bill. I think my only option just now is to fit the delete idler pulley and belt leaving all the rest of the system in place to hopefully be repaired properly in the future. The foremost question is that will the unpressurised hydraulic anti roll bars present an unsafe handling situation or will it be ok in relative terms please? Again thoughts and suggestions much appreciated.
In the meantime I’ll try to see if a partial replacement of the line that’s leaking is a possibility? And TDV8 you’re correct it is around the front drivers side wheel arch area.
