I think there's a service bulletin in GTR about this... this has been reported a few times (and actually happened to the RRS I took out for a test drive pre-purchase).

I had this a while back only a day after a post on here somewhere. Apparently the panel in the rear is partly for this - i could not open fuel flap and had to reach through access panel to encourage cable to release fuel flap - never had it since and unlock lock etc didn't help... |
