Just had notification from dealer that my September build that despite having price protection has gone up in price as some of the options have increased and I will still have to pay an extra £8k Clearly not very transparent from them only finding out 3 weeks before it's due.

I've had exactly the same happen, although I was at least told what the new price was (and value of price protection) a month or two ago. You will still have price protection against a MY24 car, but it will be a fraction of the overall price increase.

Yes, It's an MY24, was told the options have all increased. The price protection only looks to be on the base value of the car before any VAT etc and as stated only a fraction of the increase anway

Had a fantastic day at Solihull today on VIP tour with my wife. We had over three hours on a one-one with a super knowledgeable guide. Very impressive facility with a real focus on quality assurance. Saw my car after paint and watched it down the line - great experience. It will be finished tomorrow.

Got invited back for VIP handover so no delay in car being taken to dealer. They are doing a full paint detail, nice lunch at boutique restaurant and another look round factory.

Does anyone know if there is still the possibility to order a steel roof?
So no panoramic roof of any type ?

Since a few months dealers in the Netherlands proclaim only cars
with any glass roof will be accepted as order. But the configurator
still shows the option of a steel roof.

In the UK market, I don’t think it is possible to order a RRS without some form of panoramic roof. I’m not sure what the situation is in other countries.

That is crazy! I’ve noticed there are a few optional features on the SV Edition One that come standard on Autobiography models e.g. four-zone climate, twin-blade sun visors. Considering the cost of the SV, you’d think extras like these would be thrown in!

Had word mine is built and being called over by the dealer, will hopefully pick up early October

Do you know how long your wait is? I haven't heard anything like that about mine but I would be surprised!

The dealer had no official eta but LR indicated perhaps 1 to 2 months. Although someone else on here was told sometime in the first week of October.

I'd say that nobody knows and it'll turn up when it turns up.
