My deployable tow bar also doesn’t work. When I press the on button it just lights up red and bleeps. I’m going to disconnect the battery and leave for half an hour then reconnect and hope that a system reset will fix everything. I’m not feeling confident though…… |

Not too sure but I can check. What should the voltage be? Do I need to check at the battery terminals or can it be done at the terminals under the bonnet? |

So just been out to the car and now there are no low battery warning on the dash boot lid opens and shut with remote and the tow bar working as it should . I did drive the car yesterday when the AA man had gone just to make sure everything was ok. Should I still check the battery voltage? This problem started after I washed the car. I have a CTEC connector fixed to the charging terminals under the bonnet that comes out under the windscreen scuttle. There is a very slim chance this could have got wet. Could this have caused all my electrical problems ? |

Just checked the voltage at the battery. It’s 13.1v. Is this good? |

At 6 minutes it tells you how to reset. There are 2 types of reset. No red lights mentioned though |

He didn’t fit a new battery as there was nothing wrong with it. He had his test equipment attached to the battery and he did all sorts of tests like starting car , putting heated seats on etc and all was ok according to his test meter. |
