Does anything happen when you pull the stalk towards you?

Hi Col, If I pull stalk towards me that also works the front washers as it should, but neither pushing end in or pulling towards me will make the rear washer work, both actions now work the front screen washers. This has happened all of a sudden,I'm suspecting a relay at fault?May try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes this morning see if that alters anything.

Sounds a little more like a switch fault. I would start at the switch and work from there. If the various pins don’t do their jobs when connected to live then move to the next part (CJB). 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Hi,thanks for reply,do you or anyone else on the site know whats involved in replacing the switch as I will buy one and try it rather than involving the "MAIN DEALER".

Very easy. Remove the steering column covers. Only two screws hold the switch, disconnect the wires and it’s out. Reverse to install. I changed out both my switches in about 15-20 minutes, so can’t be too bad. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

I have tried disconnecting the battery and given all the relays under the bonnett a gentle tap still the same push end in and it still works front washers,Now thinking Earth wire fault"BUT WHERE"Any suggestions more than welcome.

Well you could try changing the small pump in the passenger wheel arch.

Hi,I think I'l try looking at pumps,I think there are 3 attached to bottle, maybe try swapping them round,it could be one back earthing through another etc.I will post the outcome when I've had a look.Do you know the easiest way to access them?

Only a question but are you sure the dealer used the latest switch, as if I remember correctly the earlier cars you pulled the switch towards you to operate the rear washers/wiper, but on the 12/13 cars at least they changed it assuming it's controlled by the switch and not the BCM module, you pull the switch towards you to operate the front washer/wipers, may not make any difference only a thought.
