What Tyre Pressues?

Using the standard pressures on the plate the vehicle needed continuous corrections on the steering wheel and the rear was a bit bouncy. Loaded for the holiday the back end calmed down .
So I reduced pressure to 33 all round and it was much improved. 255/50/19

Personaly I think 33psi in the rear is a bit low, I usally run mine at 36psi although I am on 275/45 x 21" wheel/tyre size.

Cheers

I run mine 36f / 39r normally but add to the rear if I'm going to load it and travel any distance. 255/55/19.

Have you had the alignment checked/adjusted? These things have adjustability in each corner so they need the right alignment check to ensure all is correct. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I suppose it depend on the accuracy of the tyre pressure gauge ....... Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

Hard to find any accurate air pump in a garage here yet alone precise, so I use my own at home - which is also helpful as regards the temperature of the tyre. (By the time I got to a garage the tyres were usually hot!)

2.4 front, and 2.6 rear for the 275/40/20s on my 2.7TDV6. Barrie.

Yeah, have digital one in the car, and generally check mine after the car has been parked overnight.

Cheers
