Haven't a clue what the latest version number is as I think HERE formerly Navteq stopped official versions years ago for the 2.1 gen, although I believe you can get third party one's, the spread sheet the quote is referring to is completely out of date.

Have updated the map yesterday to version 20/21, it took 2 hours 45 mins to uplead with engine running but no issues. You have to get activation code. |

The update on a 2012 car is done via a USB memory stick, just takes a bit of time, go for a long drive or leave it idling in the drive, if you switch the ignition off the update will stop but should start again where it stopped when ignition turned back on, but you will end up turning it back on quite a few times if you do it that way.

Plug the USB stick into the usb port in the center cubby box lid, start the car and follow the instructions on the screen which is basically enter a code which should come with the stick you have, wait 2.5 hrs or so and let it do it's thing.
