Right quick update on this
Took car to LR local to me told them about the issue
They kept the car for a day and checked battery and alternator
Technician said battery was 90-95% alternator was working fine
He said he’s seen lots like this and it could be because it’s used mainly for short trips so battery is never fully charging.
Strange thing is it’s never done it since the code was originally cleared by first garage

The guy I got it from did say it had been sat not used for 4-5 weeks before I got it so maybe the battery was low and stored a code

These things hate low battery voltages. If you're going to be using it for short journeys, it would be wise to use a smart-charger regularly to keep the battery topped up, especially as we go towards winter. If the vehicle has tow electrics fitted, you can charge through the towing permanent live using something like a CTek charger and a towing electrics adaptor.

It's a useful way to check the battery too - checking via the tow plug means you don't have to unlock the car and wake up the ECUs - so you get a proper resting battery reading. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
