These things hate low battery voltages. If you're going to be using it for short journeys, it would be wise to use a smart-charger regularly to keep the battery topped up, especially as we go towards winter. If the vehicle has tow electrics fitted, you can charge through the towing permanent live using something like a CTek charger and a towing electrics adaptor.
