United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Tonga Green
intercooler hose split accompanied with a growling sound

Hi Everyone,

Again very grateful in advance for all of your help - wanted to share whats going on with my car and hoping for some good advice as always. L320 3.6TD V8 RRS with 150,000 miles on the clock.

The intercooler hose has split again, this time the black exhaust smoke is accompanied with a noisy growl, which did not happen last time. Do you reckon I drive 50 miles to my trusted indie without doing any harm? Photo attached. Its the growl that is worrying me. Also, the actuator rods have both given out a few times prior to the hose split.

Many thanks in advance

Alex
